How do you make and age-old RPG system adapt to the world of modern gaming? Enter Persona 5, a social simulation turn-based RPG developed by Atlus. The game follows the exploits of a high school student in Tokyo who in his free time does what any teenager do like dungeon exploration, socialization, and fighting the dark forces inhabiting the modern society.
The game has been in development for more than 5 years and based on the end product, the developers should probably give themselves a tap on the back for creating one of the hippest and coolest RPG's available today. What makes Persona 5 stand-out is the art form, creativity, ingenuity, and the innovation the developers have put into the game without steering away from its roots. From the storyline, side quests, exploration, gameplay, and battle transitions, Persona 5 makes everything look cool and hip which is a perfect representation of the message it wants to convey towards its audience.
The Japanese market got an early copy of the game but it never stopped the rest of the gaming community to get a piece of the action. Sony unleashed Persona 5 worldwide with the availability of dual-language with the original Japanese voices coming as a free DLC.
