The much anticipated third-person team based Nintendo Switch game Splatoon 2 launched at number 2 in UK's sales chart. The game just like Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
has contributed a day's worth of software sales.
However, it seems that Vicarious Vision's reconstructed version of the marsupial's exploits has reclaimed the chart's top spot after Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age
broke its two-week streak. Sales of Splatoon 2
could eventually rise by next week's but for now, Crash Bandicoot is definitely taking its time and enjoying the view on top of the sales charts.
Some of the notable release this week includes the party-based RPG Pyre
and the Sign of the Times
which is the final DLC of Mafia 3
on July 25, the third-person VR Game based on one of Greek Mythology's infamous tales called Theseus
on July 26, and the highly anticipated installment of the Dragon Quest series Dragon Quest XI
will finally launch on July 29.
Check out the latest trailer from Crash Bandicoot featuring the Stormy Ascent level which is available for free at the PlayStation Store up until August 19 and the launch trailer of Pyre. Stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
