version beat-em-up video game of the iconic post-apocalyptic manga called Fist of the North Star
is currently being developed by the team responsible for Sega's Yakuza series. The game is scheduled to launch in Japan sometime next year, there's still no information if the game will be released in the international market but the possibility is huge.
Fist of the North Star follows the exploits of Kenshiro tagged as the master of the invincible fist and who is in a desperate search of his fiancee. The protagonist arrives in a place called Eden known as the City of Miracles due to its inexhaustible supply of water and electricity provided by a place called Sphere City. However, the entire Eden is in lockdown which now becomes the biggest dilemma of the game's protagonist.
Fist of the North Star for the PS4 will be the franchise's fourth video game spinoff. The first version was developed for NES in 1987, followed by the PS2 fighting game version by Arc System Works, then there's the beat-em up version for the Xbox 360 and PS3 called Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 1 and 2 developed by Omega Force (Dynasty Warriors).
