Nintendo Working On Achievement And Leaderboards System For The Switch
A leaderboards and Achievements system is currently being developed for the Nintendo Switch, this information was shared by one of the founders of Crunching Koalas during a recent Reddit AMA for the studios latest game as per Nintendo Everything. The said information was brought up by Tom when asked about the absence of the game's leaderboards, his full response is quoted below.

"Nintendo doesn’t have an official support for Achievements and Leaderboards, like Sony or Microsoft but we know that they’re working on it. We’ll see how it goes and we’ll add the rankings along the way." - Tom Tomaszewski as per Nintendo Everything

If so, this is great news to all Nintendo Switch owners. Having an official  Leaderboards and Achievements feature may not be that a big of a deal to some, but there's a lot more to it than some writings on the wall. There's a sense of euphoric feeling which brings smile to your face when that Achievement or Trophy notification pop-up appears on the upper-right hand side of your screen, it's like the game's way of telling you that you did a great job not to mention the bragging rights which is one of the perks after seeing your gamer tag in the leaderboards. This is really something that will make the Nintendo Community even stronger and more connected not only with each other but with Nintendo itself. Stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
