The second official gameplay of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite
was finally revealed today. The video uploaded by Capcom contained similar characters to the 5-minute unofficial gameplay
video that we featured yesterday which was thought of to be an early beta version.
This epic clash of superheroes and fighters shows a big difference in terms of its graphical presentation which is powered by Unreal Engine 4. This could be due to the fact that this game was created to attract more players and audience towards the fighting game genre. The game is said to have been designed to serve as "a great introduction to the genre as a whole, far more simplistic and technically easier to pick up and play," as per Capcom Europe COO Stuart Turner in an interview with Gamesindustrybiz last March.
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite
is also the first installment in the MVC franchise to have a solidly structured storyline. Other features include a single-player mode composed of Training, Mission, and Arcade. Ranked and casual matches, global leaderboards and online lobbies complete with spectator mode for future global matches.
