Tokido Dominates Brooklyn Beatdown SFV Tournament
The $50,000 Street Fighter V  prize pool in the recently concluded Brooklyn Beatdown was dominated by Tokido bringing home a whopping $20,000 paycheck. This, however, is an ESL exclusive and will not award winners with Global Points for the upcoming Capcom Cup. The event boasted a huge number of notable professional players including Justin Wong, NuckleDu, Momochi, Punk, Filipino Champ and much more. Tokido who was this year's EVO champ faced Fuudo in the grand finals who managed to climb this way from the losers bracket and got a reset but was unfortunately beaten by Tokido by a 3-0 score.
Other winners include Justin Wong in third place followed by Menard on fourth, Momochi and Smug on fifth and Punk together with Daigo on seventh. Check the top 8 finals below and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
