What Critics Are Saying About MVC Infinite
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite finally launched yesterday, following the epic Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 which has established quite a following in the fighting game genre. Let's take a quick look at what the critics are saying about the latest chapter in this latest collaboration of superheroes from two of the biggest companies in the entertainment industries.

"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is sterile on the surface, but a functional as hell fighter. I'm fine with that. Are you?" - Destructoid Review score 7.5/10

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite compared to its predecessor Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 boasts the same score as the latter which is an average Metascore of 77/100 for the PS4 but has quite an improvement of 82/100 for the Xbox One from the 78/100 of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. The game has not been reviewed for the PC yet so we'll just skip that for now.

"It manages to be easily one of the worst and also one of the best fighting games in recent memory all at once. Like its heroes and villains, it’s stuck between two worlds." - IGN Review score 7.7/10

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is designed to appeal to both hardcore and newbies in the fighting game genre. The characters of the game were selected to entice new fans and players to the ever-growing fighting game community. The game has added the appeal of the six infinity stones as a replacement for the player's third character which according to IGN "adds another layer of strategy" to the game. Unfortunately, Wolverine, Magneto, and Storm are completely out of the picture, so for those who love playing these characters, now is the time to look in acquiring new mains.

"It's not as big and beautiful as I want it to be, but Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite still has plenty to offer fans of the series." Gamesbeat review score 75/100

Overall, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is a combination of both the classic and the new, it may not appeal to all fighting game enthusiasts, especially for those who are accustomed to Wolverine's "Berserker Barage" but still its a great and fun game to play once you get into the action. check out the game's launch trailer and IGN's video review below for more information and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
