Project Cars 2
is finally launching in less than 24 hours. But before that, let's take a quick look at the features of Bandai Namco's entry into the racing sim genre which is from the looks of it, could change the way we look at video game racing simulation as we know it.
First off, Project Cars 2
is Project Cars on Steroids, featuring more than 180 licensed cars and over 140 tracks in 60 locations making it the largest track roster ever released on consoles to date. The game also boasts a new feature called Livetrack 3.0 which is a dynamic track feature which greatly affects vehicle performance, grip, handling, etc. In terms of motorsports, Project Cars 2 will feature the widest variety of features, ranging from Rally to Indy races and much more.
All of these features will be presented in 12K HDR Support and VR for the PC. The console versions will get the usual features like 1080p for the PS4 and Xbox One and 4K for the PS4 Pro. Pre-ordering
the game now will give the player access to four more cars from Honda (Civic Type R Euro-Spec, Honda 2&4 Concept) and Nissan (280ZX IMSA GTX, Skyline GT-R R32 Group A).
