Imaginarium Studios Co-Founder Andy Serkis talks about what makes Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier
different from other episodic decision-based games of the current gen. The upcoming game is created using the state of the art Performance Capture Technology of Imaginarium Studios thru its games division called the Imaginati Studios.
"We wanted to make this not as a game of one of those movies but a side-universe, different character in a parallel universe" - Andy Serkis
Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is a choice-based moral dilemma game with multiple endings and can be played from either the human or the apes' point of view. Aside from its amazing performance capture technology, what makes this project different from similarly developed games is the depth in which the game's story is presented. The game will neither have protagonist or antagonists, what it does have are characters of different species whose survival depends on the decisions made by the player. This game is designed to be a PlayStation PlayLink title which means it can be played by up to six players using your PS4 connected tablet or smartphone.
Andy Serkis has been known for his portrayal of the character Gollum in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars Episode VII, and the Planet of The Apes reboot series, this multi-talented innovator has been tagged as the Master of Performance Capture in the entertainment industry.
