September has been a blast in video games with the launch of a variety of notable titles like Destiny 2
, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite
, Project Cars 2
and Fallout 4 GOTY
. But if you think the September titles are big, wait till you see what's in store for the month of October as we once again take a quick look at what we think are the most notable titles scheduled to launch this month.
Launching On October 4 is the Xbox Exclusive racing sim Forza Motorsport 7
. This title is considered to be one of the biggest when it comes to racing simulation. The game is also the title game for the upcoming Xbox One X
Then on October 10, the next installment of the Middle Earth series Shadow of War
will finally hit both Digital and Retail together with highly anticipated VR game Raw Data
for the PSVR, Shadow of War boasts to be bigger and is equipped with a much-improved nemesis system. Raw Data, on the other hand, is one of the critically acclaimed VR game on Steam which has been on early access for over a year now.
This launch will then be followed by the launch of The Evil Within 2
which is a sequel to another great game together with the retail version of Friday the 13th The Game
. The upcoming installment to the psychological horror created by Shinji Mikami looks more gruesome and creepier than its predecessor with new enemies and a new world to explore based on the previews. While Friday the 13th The Game will finally get a physical launch after doing great on digital sales.
The PlayStation exclusive Gran Turismo Sport
will also launch during this month on October 17, the launch of this epic racing sim completes the list of the most anticipated racing simulation games for 2017. PC owners who are itching to play Destiny 2 will finally get their fill on October 24.
And finally, perhaps the most marked date on each calendar during this month is on the 27 where three of the biggest and most anticipated games of this year launches altogether. Assassin's Creed Origins
, Super Mario Odyssey
, and Wolfenstein 2
will finally make its way to the public. Assassin's Creed Origins will feature a new battle system and a wide variety of weapons. The game will take place in ancient Egypt and will feature the very first Assassin who started the entire saga. Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus takes place right after the events of the first installment. The game will take place in a different reality where the Third Reich has taken over the world. Super Mario Odyssey will feature a different type of Mario, instead of chasing down mushrooms, Nintendo's mascot has a hat that can manipulate living thins once placed on their head.
