Considered as the game with the highest concurrent player record on Steam to date, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
seems to be one of the hottest things in online gaming right now. The game which came into Steam's early access sometime in March this year already has over 13 million purchases not to mention that it's one of the featured games for the Xbox One X.
In relation to this phenomenal success, Bluehole's Founder Chang Byung-Gyu confirms through a recent interview with Bloomberg that they are having talks "all of the major console companies." It was also stated that the PS4 version will come right after the launch of the Xbox version. Regarding the Switch port, it's one of the speculations that the statement "all major console companies" may actually include Nintendo. So maybe the famous PUBG will indeed be available to all major consoles by the end of next year. 'Till then this is still great news for all console owners.
