Call of Duty WWII
holds firm in its current position as the best-selling video game in the UK. Even the recently launched Star Wars Battlefront II was not able to topple the latest entry in Activision's epic FPS series. Star Wars Battlefront II
's sales are greatly affected by the recent character-progression/loot box/microtransactions controversy which has tainted EA's most ambitious project to date, but despite this, the company and the game's developers are working hard to provide a remedy for the issue.
Other games on the chart include FIFA 18
which is now back to number 3 while Pokemon Ultra Sun
and Pokemon Ultra Moon
occupied the number 4 and number 5 spot. Assassin's Creed Origins
plunges down to number 6 from last week's number 3 which is then followed by The Sims 4
which launched at number 7 and L.A. Noire Remastered
debuted at number 8. Super Mario Odyssey
falls down to number 9 followed by Lego Marvel Super Heroes
on number 10 which is another new entry to the chart. Check out this week's top 10 together with the launch trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II below and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
