OUG Tournament 2017 Highlights

2017 has been one of our biggest eSport tournament in Dubai, UAE Middle East. It has proven that our humble community is growing fast and its all thanks to all of those continues to support and participate in the activities that we organize together with SNK and Bandai Namco who provided us with the necessary support. And for the first time, we have included FIFA 17 as one of our main game during the event. Each tournament is not mainly about who's the best but the bond, camaraderie, and brotherhood formed with each event. Each tournament is a celebration of the sport which we all learned to enjoy. In relation to this, we humbly present the highlights of this year's tournament.

The videos and images presented below were made possible because of all of you, the participants, the commentators, the guests, and spectators. Consider this as a simple appreciation from all of us at OUG, we have contrive and provided the facilities that all of you have made into a great and successful event that gets our community one step closer towards our goal, which is to develop our local fighting game community and make our own mark in the international scene.

We have invited some of the best players on the planet of each game and although they emerged as victors in the tournament, we have also witnessed that some of our local talents are slowly adapting to the playstyles of this international players. For Tekken, we have Knee, AO and Rookang for KOF XIV we invited the EVO Champ ET, for Street Fighter V we invited Verloren, and for SSB we invited Fatality. These professional players are considered as the best in their game and are known worldwide, yet they accepted our humble challenge to compete against our local players and over time we have seen the improvements in their play style. With this being our third major tournament, we will aim to improve and provide everyone with a bigger and better event in the coming years.
