EVO 2018 Cuts Main Events To 7

A recent tweet from EVO Head Honcho Joey Cuellar has revealed the number of games included in the 2018 main event. Mr. Cuellar has tweeted that EVO 2018 will have a total of 7 games which is less than the previous events making it the first time in 6 years. He was asking the community for the FGC's opinion on which games will make the cut. This may include the number of games included in the upcoming EVO Japan event which will be happening in January. Some of the replies to the tweet still includes 8 games, an example for this was from Justin Wong whose list includes SFV, MVCI, Smash 4, Melee, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear, and Injustice 2.

There could still be changes regarding the number of games given that its still going to be a long way before the next big event takes place. We will update you on this information so stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
