A brand new feature for Final Fantasy XV has just been confirmed in the recently concluded ATR live stream in celebration of the game's first anniversary. The new feature pertains to switching between characters in the game, this means that after the update which is expected to go live on December 12, players will be able to switch between Noctis, Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto. Aside from this, free story updates together with possibly 3 new DLC will be available next year.
Comrades, which is the game's multiplayer expansion will also be getting its first patch on December 12. Episode Ignis, on the other hand, will have twice as many cutscenes from Episode Prompto, will have multiple endings and the main story will take about 1.5-2 hours to complete. The upcoming episode will also have an Extra Battle Mode wherein the player can play as Ignis and battle against Noctis.
