PUBG Surpasses 1 Million Downloads In Just 48 Hours For Xbox One

Xbox Wire has recently confirmed that Playerunknown's Battlegrounds already has more than 1million players on Xbox One 48 hours after being released as part of the Xbox Game Preview program. This program is similar to Steam's Early Access wherein players can preview and purchase games which are still in development. As a result, every purchase of an Xbox One X will come with a copy of the game starting on December 17 up to December 31.

Despite the game's overwhelming success, the Xbox One and Xbox One X versions of the game are said to have been performing badly according to a recent analysis/review by Eurogamer's Digital Foundry. The Xbox One is said to have an average framerate of 25.6 fps while the Xbox One X has a 27.6 fps. Aside from the game's frame-rate issues, the game version also has input lag, jarring pop-in, low-quality artwork among others.
