The peripheral brand Mad Catz will be making a comeback after declaring bankruptcy last year. The comeback was confirmed after being acquired by a group in China who are very familiar with the brand's range of gaming accessories but was not in any way related to the previous management.
"Through listening to gamers worldwide, we plan to once again forge a path of innovation in the gaming hardware community, and we're already working on delivering products which we believe will enhance gamers' abilities and do justice to the Mad Catz name." - Selena Chang director of sales and operation speaking to GamesIndustry Biz
The Chinese group will be resurrecting some of the brand's famous peripherals like the R.A.T gaming mice (seen on the cover image), S.T.R.I.K.E keyboards and F.R.E.Q headsets which will be showcased at the upcoming CES event next week. Stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
