Capcom announced another character coming to Street Fighter Arcade Edition on February 20 in the form of Blanka. The character was revealed through his very own gameplay trailer which showcased his moveset from simple combos, V-Triggers, V-Skill and critical arts. Also featured in the recent announcement are his alternate costumes which look amazing.
Blanka first appeared in Street Fighter II and his fighting style is described as "Animalistic" which consists of pummeling, scratching, and leaping. His V-Skill is called Coward Crouch where he ducks for cover for a short time before rising back up. His V-Skill allows him to dodge attacks and perform follow-up attacks.
His V-Trigger I called Jungle Dynamo gives his special roll attacks more damage which can slightly launch his opponent up into the air making them vulnerable to his rolling attacks. His V Trigger I also unlocks the combo extender Ground Shave Rolling.
His V Trigger II is called Lightning beast which unlocks a special move called Rolling Cannon. This special move can be used after performing rolling attacks, this can be used as a combo extender for dealing more damage.
Blanka's Critical Art is a deadly continuous electrocution technique where he slams his opponent to the ground inflicting multiple electric rolls like his Lightning Cannonball from Street Fighter IV. Blanka can be purchased separately for $5.99 or 100,000 fight money or as a part of the $29.99 character pass together with Sakura, Falke, Cody, G, and Sagat.
