MHW And PS4 Remains On Top Of The Japanese Sales Chart

The Japanese Media Crate Sales for WE 2/11/18 was just revealed and its still dominated by Monster Hunter World followed by the recently launched Dynasty Warriors 9 on number 2 and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet on number 3. Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch is at number 4 while Shadow of the Colossus which is currently dominating the UK sales chart is at number 5.

The hardware department, on the other hand, is still being dominated by PlayStation 4 after managing to sell a total of 59,691 units, trailing at number 2 is the Nintendo Switch with 43,404 units sold and on number 3 is the PS4 Pro with 11,615 units. On number 4 is the New 2DS LL with 6,031, on number 5 is the PS Vita with 4,133 units, on number 6 is the New 3DS LL with 3,581 units, 2DS is at number 7 with 904 units and the Xbox One X is at number 8 with 209 units followed by Xbox One with 52 units sold. So it seems that PlayStation is gaining popularity back in Japan after having been overtaken by the Switch last year. Xbox however despite the release of the Xbox One X is still struggling to keep up with the competition. Stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
