An article about the PC player decline of Dragon Ball FighterZ was featured by IGN yesterday, the game has said to have dropped a staggering 80% of its Steam players in less than two weeks and was compared to Tekken 7's 2-month player decline of the same percentage.
In relation to this, one member of the FGC has created a video about the article which he considers as "misleading" to the community. In fact, the YouTuber made his own analysis that he presented in his video. In his argument, Fighting Games have always experienced this type of trend, the decline of players is sometimes due to the fact that first-time players realize that fighting games are hard especially on the competitive side. He also compared Steam data for the most popular fighting games in the industry today and it clearly shows that Dragon Ball FighterZ still has the most number of players.
