Capcom has just revealed the complete details for the biggest Street Fighter tournament on the planet. This year's Capcom Pro Tour will feature a prize pool of more than $600,000. The tour will still enforce the same rules for qualifying except for the point system which was tweaked or nerfed a little bit to ensure balanced distribution. An Example of this is that the EVO winner this year will gain 1750 points and the second placer will get 850 points compared to last year's 1000 points for the champ and 700 for the second place winner.

This year's event will feature 14 premiers, four regional events, 7 ranking events for North America, 6 for Asia, 7 for Europe, and 12 for Latin America. Last Year's champion is auto-qualified for the event to defend his title, while the regional finals will include an open ranking event that will allow any player from a different region to compete for global leaderboard points. Online Events will still continue and will follow the same point structure as the ranking event.
