A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III was recently uploaded by Square Enix through their Japanese YouTube channel. The first thing you'll notice on the new trailer is Sora's Keyblade which looks like it's not producing those tea cups, train, etc which takes effect during special attacks as shown in previous trailers. One possibility is that Sora is currently equipped with a different type of Keyblade.
"Don't assume your dreams are just fantasy. If you can imagine a world, believe in it... and dive in."- Kingdom Hearts III
The trailer shows a very smooth fast-paced gameplay set in meticulously designed environments populated by familiar characters from both Disney and Square Enix. It has been almost 12 years since Kingdom Hearts 2 was launched and multiple spin-offs and a couple of remixes for Kingdom Hearts II were launched during that gap in the series' timeline which concluded last January with the launch of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
This cross-over masterpiece between Tetsuya Nomura (Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children) and Disney Interactive Studios started out as an idea to create a game that could rival Mario 64 but that's not what happened. Kingdom Hearts has become a game with its own identity, this is one of the best cross-over's anyone could ask for.
