Video game versions of the epic manga and anime series Dragon Ball has been around since 1986 and as big as it was in pop-culture, the video game depiction of Dragon Ball is something that's there in order to represent one of the biggest names in anime in the video game department of the entertainment industry.
“The DRAGON BALL franchise is tailor suited for the fighting game genre, and DRAGON BALL FighterZ will be the next exciting addition to a long history of great fighting games,” -Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc.
After all those years and development attempts by a lot of companies, it seems that the brand is finally in the right hands at the right time. EA together with Arc System Works announced Dragon Ball FighterZ at this year's E3 which could possibly be the only tournament grade Dragon Ball fighting game any Dragon Ball fan would want. The game is expected to hit stores both digital and retail in the early months of 2018.
Dragon Ball FighterZ also features 3v3 Tag system which can be observed in games like Marvel vs Capcom and The King Of Fighters and it will have a framerate of 60fps and A Closed Beta will be available before the summer ends. The game is currently available for pre-order on this
