Days Gone E3 Gameplay Trailer Showcased The Real Threats In The Game
Even though we did not get a glimpse of The Last of Us 2 in this year's E3, Days Gone was there to quench the gaming community's thirst for survival horror. The 7-minute gameplay trailer starts off with Deacon St. John riding off in search for a friend.

As our protagonist ventured further from one of the encampments, he encounters some of the threats which were not shown in last year's trailer. This year's demo features infected wolves, bears, the last year's swarm and of course the other survivors whose main objectives is to kill/rob/eat the main character. But with all the elements in the game, other people are considered to be the most dangerous and is considered to be the main threat to out hero.

The gameplay trailer showcased Deacon St. John utilizing other environmental threats like the swarm to gain an advantage to hs friend's captors. It's like the world is so dangerous that people have already adapted and has learned to live with the constant threat present in his environment which he can manipulate through strategic planning and approach.

This is one of the things that makes Days Gone unique: you don’t have to seek out danger. Wherever you’re going, whatever you’re doing – the world comes for you-  John Garvin Creative Director, Bend Studios
