A Nintendo Switch exclusive Pokemon core-RPG was confirmed by Tsunekazu Ishihara (Pokemon Company President), this information was confirmed during Nintendo's E3 2017 presentation. There isn't much information disclosed about the game which is said to may not release for more than a year as per the article by Gamespot.
Pokemon Sun and Moon for the 3DS which will be getting an update called Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon in November are the latest RPG games dedicated to the Pokemon brand. The Nintendo Switch, on the other hand, will be getting an updated version of Pokken Tournament called Pokken DX
which we covered recently.
