The month of April is almost upon us and this means new games will soon be hitting both retail and digital stores. As usual, we will be sharing some of our most anticipated games and expansions scheduled to launch this month.
Extinction (PS4, Xbox One, PC) April 10, 2018
First to launch is Iron Galaxy's skill-based action-adventure game called Extinction. The game takes place in a fictional world infested by 150 ft monsters called Ravenii where players take control of Avil who's one of the last members of an ancient order called Sentinels. Aside from its deep story campaign, Extinction also features dynamic side missions, a fully destructible environment, non-repetitive battle scenarios and zero microtransactions.
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4) April 17, 2018
The latest and hopefully not the last entry to Sega's critically acclaimed Yakuza series is finally coming to the West. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life has been critically acclaimed by western critics not only for its unique over-the-top arcade infused open-world gameplay but for its solid story as well. This is a must-play for open-world enthusiasts.
God Of War (PS4) April 20, 2018
One of the biggest and most anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive titles is finally making its way to both retail and digital stores. The new God of War features a new mythology and a whole new gameplay experience. The game will be presented in a seamless no cut camera execution, which means that the entire game is presented in one continuous footage which is probably a first in the video game industry.
Nintendo Labo (Nintendo Switch) April 20, 2018
The last entry in our shortlist is an add-on for the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Labo is made up of various cardboard DIY creativity kits called "Toy Cons." Nintendo currently revealed two Labo Kits available for pre-order, a Variety and a Robot Kit.
