Ubisoft finally revealed the full details of the collaboration of two of their most iconic titles; Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Splinter Cell. The 16 GB content(4GB on Steam) will go live today featuring a Splinter Cell Special Challenge mission with Splinter Cell protagonist Sam Fisher as part of the free Special Operations 1 update. Completing the themed mission before May 2 will give players access to Sam Fisher's Night Vision Goggles with their own Splinter Cell vision, new Proximity Mines, and a Splinter Cell Patch.

For those who really want to get the full Splinter Cell experience, the $29.99 USD Year 2 Pass is the perfect way to go. The pass will include an exclusive Splinter Cell Equipment pack and will enable players to get a seven-day early access to all of Year 2's upcoming Ghost War Classes with 8 Battle Crates. And finally, for those who want to try out the game, a free weekend access event will take place on April 12 to April 15, 2018, across all platforms. The event will give access to the new Special Operations 1 update, full base game, Ghost War PVP, and the Predator mission, saved progress made throughout the event will carry over once the full game is purchased.
