SNES Classic Edition Sold More Than 5 Million Units

The miniature or classic edition of Nintendo's Super NES console has sold a total of 5.28 million units as of the end of March 2018. The console is the successor to the NES classic and has been sought out by collectors and video game enthusiasts ever since its announcement in June of last year. Nintendo has made sure that the supply of the said console is sufficient enough to fulfill the overwhelming demand of the said console which has been quite beneficial to the company based on the latest financial report.

Gematsu who first got hold of the information previously reported that the console has sold more than 4 million units in January of this year. This means that the SNES classic managed to sell more than 1.28 million units in just three months. This is truly a win for Nintendo, no wonder that other companies like Sega are making miniature versions of their console. Stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
