EVO head honcho Joey Cuellar has revealed another entrants leaderboard update for EVO 2018. The list remains unchanged except for the sidenote of Dragon Ball FighterZ whose previous "Big Lead" which is now changed to "Bigger Lead". Street Fighter V still holds the record for the most number of entrants in EVO history, however, if the trend continues, there might be a possibility that Bandai Namco's Anime-inspired fighting game will break the record.

Other members of the FGC especially those of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite are still a little bit disappointed on the exclusion of the game from this year's main line-up. One of the comment found in the thread of the leaderboard update stated that "#mvci would have been top 4 if you gave it a chance," in relation to this statement, the upcoming EVO 2018 is the biggest opportunity for the MVCI community to prove the organizers wrong by having a huge side tournament based on James Chen's previous post. EVO 2018 will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada USA on August 3-5. Stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
