A Special Version Of Famicom Mini Due For Release In Japan

A special version of the Nintendo Famicom (Family Computer) known in the west as the NES Classic Edition, is due for a Japanese launch on July 7 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Weekly Shōnen Jump. The Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Commemoration Version will have a golden theme and will have a special set of manga-inspired games like Fist of the North Star, Kinnikuman, Dragon Ball and much more (see list below). The mini console will have an estimated price of 7,980 yen or about $73 USD based on the currency exchange as of writing.
