Battlefield V's reveal introduced some exciting details and features of the upcoming game. One of which is the absence of Premium Pass and Loot Boxes which hyped up the crowd. This means that future digital contents (maps, customization items, modes) can be unlocked or accessed just by playing the game. Players with extra dough can still purchase vanity/cosmetic items (does not have any effect on progression or power) directly or through the usual grind and Premium Currency.
