Capcom has finally brought to light the official details of the previously rumored Devil May Cry 5 and it looks very promising indeed. Contrary to the rumored timed PS4 exclusivity, the game was announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and is scheduled to launch in Spring 2019. At the center of the trailer is Nero from Devil May Cry 4, who after the loss of his Devil Bringer sought out the assistance of an expert Craftswoman named Nora who creates various types of prosthetic arms to compensate for his demon arm during demon battles.
Dante was also featured in the announce video which could probably mean that he is part of the upcoming installment leaving one mysterious character who was yet to be revealed. In terms of visuals, DMC 5 is powered by Capcom's RE Engine and it will run at 60fps. DMC 5 is also crafted under the supervision of Hideaki Itsuno together with other Devil May Cry veterans developers.
Rumors pertaining to the development next entry to the acclaimed series surfaced in November of last year through Resetera stating that the title has been in development for two years already. The recent rumor which seemed like a confirmation of the game's existence surfaced just recently on the same forum site informing the DMC community that DevilMayCry5.com was already registered on the same registrar used by Capcom for Monster Hunter World and Resident Evil 7.
