One of the big surprises during the E3 2018 PlayStation Showcase was the reveal of the first gameplay footage for the PlayStation 4 exclusive open-world action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima. Sucker Punch managed to share a sequence from the game and it's probably one of the best gameplay footage in this year's event.
Ghost of Tsushima as the name suggests is set in the island of Tsushima where the Mongolian Army achieved their very first victory during their invasion of Japan. The gameplay video showcased the game's protagonist Jin fighting alongside an Onna-bugeisha named Masako on Day 9 of the invasion. Both warriors stealthily infiltrate a point of interest to rescue a monk held captive by Mongols after which both warriors engage in a duel which is part of Masako's storyline.
From the looks of it, Ghost of Tsushima is going to be a huge game with various gameplay mechanics alongside multiple storylines and quests scattered all over the island of Tsushima. The information pertaining to the game's release still remains undisclosed but knowing that this is being developed by one of Sony's studios is assurance enough to expect another great title.
