The previously leaked and now announced open-world FPS Rage 2 was one of the anticipated game in this year's E3. Two of the gaming industry's biggest studios Avalanche (Just Cause series, Mad Max) and id Software (Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake) have collaborated to create what is described as a "carnival of carnage" full of explosions set in an open world made up of various landscapes that the player can explore.
A short teaser featuring Rage 2's gameplay was shown to the public ahead of this year's E3, this followed by an extended version of the footage was also shared by the game's publisher Bethesda Softworks at the beginning of the conference. Adding to that, members of the development team also sat down with IGN and share some of the details of the upcoming game. Rage 2 is currently available for pre-order for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
