Sony is once again facing yet another crossplay related issue as Fallout 76 director Todd Howard blames the company for the upcoming game's lack of such feature. Describing crossplay as "a big trend in the games industry", the director explained that Sony is not "helpful" in terms of crossplay, making the feature which they "would love to do" infeasible to execute.
SIE Worldwide Chairman Shawn Layden commented on the issue earlier this week, stating that the company is "looking at a lot of possibilities" and is "confident" for a solution which will benefit both the "community" and the "business" which is a very safe statement that neither confirm nor dismiss the possibility of the feature coming to the PlayStation. Fallout 76 is the first Online Multiplayer entry to the epic Fallout series and is scheduled to launch on November 14, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
