Going live today in both retail and digital stores is the first DLC expansion of Bethesda's Prey called Mooncrash. Interestingly enough, this expansion is currently getting a lot of positive feedbacks from critics citing its unique presentation and gameplay as some of its strongest assets. In relation to that, let's take a quick look at what makes the Mooncrash expansion unique.
For starters, Mooncrash tells the story of a KASMA Corp. employee tasked with monitoring activities company's secret Pytheas Moonbase which in the recent turn of events seems to have mysteriously seized all operations. To solve this mystery, players must relive the last moments of the Pytheas inhabitants using a simulation device called Datavault.
Mooncrash is basically a simulation that features a vast variety of challenges that ramps up over time. What makes the game unique is the way it presents each scenario every time the simulation resets. Players are encouraged to improvise and come up with multiple tactics in approaching multiple scenarios.
