Bandai Namco's latest tweet states that official launch date of their upcoming post-apocalyptic vampire-themed ARPG Code Vein has been moved to 2019 and will no longer be playable at Gamescom 2018. The extension according to the company is to ensure that the "final product meets everyone's high expectations." Fans of the upcoming game, on the other hand, are neither upset nor discouraged by the extension, in fact, the majority of whom are glad that they will be receiving a polished game in the future.
Code Vein's Amazon and Gamestop listings remain unchanged despite the announcement. The pre-order tab is still active and with the original September 28, 2018 launch date still attached to it. Stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
