A live gameplay event for Bandai Namco's post-apocalyptic vampire-themed ARPG Code Vein was recently showcased at the Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2018. A new live gameplay demo set on a previously revealed stage known as the Ridge of Frozen Souls. Compared to the previous demo which featured the main protagonist wielding a two-handed-sword, the new single-handed sword approach on the same stage shows a much-faster combat approach on the same stage. Also highlighted during the demonstration is two-handed-sword specialist Io who's one of the multiple companions available in the game.
Despite the demo already looking like a full build version of the game, Code Vein's official launch was recently moved from the previously announced September 28, 2018, to 2019 for quality purposes. Check out the gameplay footage below and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
