New details pertaining to the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate were recently shared by the game's director Masahiro Sakurai, one of which is the reveal of the most iconic Vampire Hunters Simon and Richter Belmont from the Castlevania series as part of the upcoming game's main roster.
But that's not all, Vampire Prince Alucard from the same franchise will also make an appearance as one of the game's Assist Trophies together with a Dracula Castle-inspired stage. Other characters mentioned during the broadcast include Chrom from Fire Emblem and Dark Samus from Metroid Prime as Echo Fighters.
To live up to its title, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will have a total of 103 stages and more than 900 music tracks which are a ridiculous buff compared to the Wii-U version. A new feature called Stage Morph which enables real-time stage transition when activated is a fun yet challenging way to experience the game. Adding to that are new battle modes like Squad Strike (3V3 or 5V5 Elimination), Tourney (32-Player Tournament), Smashdown and much more.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is scheduled to launch on December 7, 2018. Check out the presentation video below for more information and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
