It's almost the middle of August and two of our most anticipated games Monster Hunter World for the PC and Okami HD for the Nintendo Switch were already unleashed through their respective platforms. However, we still have four more games on our upcoming list that we think are worth checking out.
State Of Mind - August 15, (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)
Developed by the German-based Daedalic Entertainment, State of Mind is a futuristic thriller set in 2048 Berlin written by highly acclaimed video game author Martin Ganteföhr. The game is presented in a low-poly visual style with more than 15 hours of engaging gameplay priced at $39.99 USD for consoles and $29.99 USD for PC.
Strange Brigade - August 28 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Revealed at E3 2017, Strange Brigade comes from the creative minds at Rebellion (Sniper Elite series, Evil Genius). Taking place during the 1930's, the upcoming game features four unique characters from the State of Antiquities set on a quest to eradicate the evil witch queen Seteki and her army of monsters in an adventure which the player can accomplish alone or with a team of 2-4 player co-op gameplay.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 - August 28 (PS4)
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remastered/remake version of the second installment in Sega's highly acclaimed Yakuza series. Despite the newly added features, the upcoming game still follows the original plot seen in the original version and is highly recommended for all fans of the series.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate - August 28 (Nintendo Switch)
Originally developed for the 3DS, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Switch will feature the iconic "Fated Four" monsters in their "deviant" forms. Aside from that, the upcoming version will also have a new endgame boss and a new Elder Dragon named Valstrax.
