Arika's independently produced fighting game Fighting EX Layer which was previously launched as a PlayStation 4 exclusive will soon have a PC version via Steam aside from the Japan-exclusive physical version. Arika announced the version through a short teaser trailer which was then followed up by a series of screenshots in 4K. Contained in the images are display resolutions ranging from 1280×720, 1920×180, 2048×1152, 2560×1440, up to 3840×2160. Other features like anti-aliasing, shadows, post-processing, and graphics scale were also highlighted in the presentation (see gallery below).

All of which was revealed hours after the female counterpart of Skullomania known as Skullolady was made public as a DLC character for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. Introduced as the second DLC/crossover character (following the female version of Terry Bogard) for SNK's all-female fighting game, Skullolady is another one of those surprising characters not to mention a much-welcomed character to join the game's roster.
As surprising as it may seem, a third crossover character whom we are guessing is also going to be a female version of another famous fighting game character is yet to be revealed. So if Skullolady has somewhat surprised some of the members of the FGC, a much more unexpected reveal may soon be coming in a couple of weeks. Skullolady is scheduled to go live on October 11, while the PC version of Fighting EX Layer remains undisclosed.
