What Critics Are Saying About Diablo III: Eternal Collection for the Switch
Despite the brutal backlash and disappointment surrounding the recently revealed Diablo Immortal, Diablo III: Eternal Collection for the Nintendo Switch has been positively received by both players and critics. Launched earlier this month with a $59.99 price tag, the collection includes all game expansions alongside some Nintendo Exclusives all in one convenient package. In relation to the recent launch, let's take a quick overview of what some of the most respected critics in gaming have to say about the collection.

"The Devil is now on-demand in a very polished, content-rich port to Nintendo Switch." - IGN 9/10

Diablo III: Eternal Collection for the Switch currently has an average Metascore of 87/100 made up of 34 positive and 1 mixed from 35 critics who scored the game. Most of the accolades enjoyed by the title are directed at the portability feature of the game. Other than that, the collection is a straight port without any additional features.

"Even without major new additions, the Switch’s portability makes it easier than ever to pop into Sanctuary, kill a few hundred monsters, and scoop up some sweet new loot." Game Informer 9/10

Portability aside, Diablo III: Eternal Collection is still the same old title with expansions in a much smaller screen. Those who already possess the same collection in either PS4 or Xbox One might have to think twice before spending $60 on the same game.  But for those hardcore fans and even those who are new to the series who owns a Nintendo Switch, Diablo III: Eternal Collection is a highly recommended item.
