In relation to the impressive sales performance
of the Nintendo Switch exclusive Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
, we now get to see the number of units sold in the Japanese market based on the latest Media Create Sales for 12/17 - 12/23. As per the data provided Super Smash Bros Ultimate now has broken through the 2 million sales mark in Japan after selling 452,617 additional units on its third week. Meanwhile, Dragon Quest Builders 2
by Square Enix managed to sell more than 207,958 copies made up of 110,285 copies for the PS4 and 97,673 for the Nintendo Switch, both titles occupying the 4 and 5th spot on the chart respectively.
Sitting on number three is Super Mario Party which is another Nintendo Switch exclusive followed by Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! (Bundle Editions Included) with 144,770. And while Switch (278,701) and the PS4 (62,580) are still selling by the thousands, the Xbox family remains at the bottom of the hardware sales chart with Xbox One X selling 195 units and Xbox One with 182.
