SFVAE Back to Being Ad-Free
It seems that Capcom has pulled-out the ads in Street Fighter V Arcade Edition, as you may have noticed the patch-like ad placements and the loading screen promotion is now gone from the game. Most of the FGC has noticed this change which could have been secretly removed by Capcom through a patch. Nevertheless, no one is sure whether the removal is temporary or perhaps the company is improving the appearance of the said ads.

The ad placements appeared without notification days before Capcom Cup 2018 in Amsterdam and have become a discussion point in the FGC. Avid Street Fighter analyst VesperArcade even made a whole video pertaining to the ads which were hilarious at first but the truth of the matter is that the placements are affecting the game's performance specifically on load times.

Another possible scenario is that Capcom may be creating a tournament version of the game that will be used exclusively for tournaments and won't show up during casual online matches, if so, then that would be a better way of executing it, not to mention the huge possibility of such version to become a rare collectible item in the future. These, however, is just speculations, in the meantime check out the latest trailer for the game below for more details and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
