As the new year begins, Capcom and Square Enix will start 2019 with a bang with the launch of three of our most anticipated titles for this year. Do take note that our short list does not represent the entirety of the games launching this month but only include the titles that we are most excited about and has been covering last year. With that out of the way, check out three of our most anticipated titles below.
Making its debut to the next-gen console is Capcom's remake of their highly acclaimed game for the PlayStation 2 called Onimusha Warlords. Announced in October of last year, the upcoming version will be made available to all platforms on the 15th of this month. Bringing with it improvements like new enhanced HD graphics, 16:9 widescreen support, screen scrolling, a new control scheme and much more! Experience this one of a kind samurai themed game on January 15, 2019.
Another classic genre-defining highly acclaimed title from Capcom will also be making its way to the next-gen consoles. Resident Evil 2 will once again take you on a roller coaster ride into the depths of the iconic Racoon Police Department. Experience the classic survival horror game rebuilt in an amazingly realistic presentation using the infamous RE-Engine from Resident Evil 7 on January 25, 2019.
And after years of anticipation, the final chapter to the Dark Seeker Saga will finally make its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Kingdom Hearts III will once again let you travel into the wondrous universe of Disney and Square Enix inspired titles in one of the most epic conclusions ever produced in video games. Experience the ultimate adventure with Sora, Goofy, and Donald on January 29, 2019.
