EVO Japan 2019 Number of Entrants Looks Weak Compared to 2018
Details pertaining to the current number of entrants registered for EVO Japan 2019 was shared recently through Twitter and it looks concerning. Compared to the 2018 numbers, the number of entrants for 2019 seems a bit weak given that the Registration for the event will close on January 31, which is less than a month from now. As per the comparison, SFV entrants is 82% less compared to last year, Tekken 7 83% less, KOF 87% less and GG with 93% fewer entrants compared to last year.

One possible reason for this decline is the absence of Dragon Ball FighterZ and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. as most Dragon Ball FighterZ specialist also play Tekken and or Street Fighter. Whatever the reason is, it would be great if we will see an improvement on these numbers come January 31.
