New details pertaining to the post-launch details of the highly anticipated Resident Evil 2
were revealed recently during the game's Japanese launch stream event. A post in ResetEra was able to translate part of the stream that talked about the details of the game's post-launch contents. Highlighted in the discussion was a free three volume free update called "Ghost Survivors."
"it's a new game mode where you can play as multiple characters, it'll be a mode with randomized elements, an in-game shop (not microtransactions, earn points in-game by performing well), and should be very replayable they say." Dusk Golem from ResetEra
It was also mentioned that a new enemy not native to Resident Evil 2 will be included in the first volume. In addition to that, playable characters like Kendo, a USS Member, and Katherine are also included in the first update. Then on March 22, nostalgic costumes for Leon and Claire will go live also free of charge. Resident Evil 2 is scheduled to launch on Friday, January 25, however, as to when the post-launch contents will go live remains undisclosed. Check out the video below for Leon's classic costume along with the recorded stream below and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
