Time manipulation bleeds into gameplay, too. Newcomer Geras can tamper with time as part of his move set. Learn him and you’ll be do undo damage by rewinding a few seconds, resurrect yourself or subtract seconds off the round timer. - PlayStation Blog
As mentioned in the recent article from PlayStation Blog, Geras' ability to manipulate time is extends to not limited to his moveset alone. What makes this interesting is the fact that this will eventually become a game changer in tournaments. Due to the possibility that Geras' ability to heal and resurrect could become a cheese magnet in both casual and tournament match-ups once mastered.
