Monster Hunter World Unit Sales Exceeds 11 Million
Monster Hunter World has now exceeded 11 million in combined unit sales according to Capcom's 3rd Quarter Report Fiscal year ending March 31, 2019. This boost in sales was credited to the success of the PC version which according to Capcom has provided a "Tailwind" to the highly acclaimed game. Capcom also mentioned that the 2018 Capcom Cup managed to reel in more than 100k concurrent viewers online. Capcom Pro Tour Japan Premier, on the other hand, was tagged as the largest tournament at the Tokyo Game Show 2018.

Metacritic's Annual Publisher Rankings 2018 and 2017 Comparison
In addition to that, Capcom also sits on top of Metacritic's recently unveiled Annual Game Publisher Rankings. All thanks to Monster Hunter World which gained the title of "Best Overall Release." Speaking of reviews, Resident Evil 2 Remake which is another Capcom game is currently the best-reviewed game of the year for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For upcoming releases, Devil May Cry 5 which is one of the most anticipated games of the year is scheduled to launch on March 8.
