KOEI Tecmo and Team Ninja's latest installment to the iconic Dead or Alive franchise has dominated the Japanese video game sales chart for WE February 25 - March 3, 2019. Dead or Alive 6
with just two days worth of sales data managed to snag the top spot from Square Enix's survival RPG Left Alive
which launched a day ahead. This indicates that the franchise still remains strong within the Japanese FGC, which is great news given that the game launched at number 21 in the UK.
In other Japanese video game sales related news, Super Smash Bros Ultimate
is nearing the 3 million mark in terms of copies sold. Nintendo Switch
remains the top-selling console, while the controversial EA game Anthem
plunges down to number 4 from last week's number 1. Check out the launch trailer for the game below and stay tuned for more gaming news and updates.
